It's a Love/Hate Relationship....

There is this thing I have to do every week. Sometime more than once a week....and I just hate it...unless I don't have the kids and then I can sometimes enjoy it....

WAL-MART

Our small little town has 2 grocery stores besides Wal-Mart. One of them is too expensive, the other I will go to get meat and some other items when I'm in a hurry and on that side of town (5 mins across town....how spoiled am I)

Things I love about Wal-Mart...
2 minutes from my house
Can get most everything there
Best prices in town
We still have our fabric dept :)
They have cute clothes that fit me
The Pharmacy...three of my friends work there so I feel like I could call them day or night!
Did I say cheap prices

Things I hate about Wal-Mart...
puts the little man out of business
Never enough checkers
Something always goes wrong in the checkout line....today the satellites weren't working for debit and credit cards....ugh! Luckily I had a check!
Taking away fabric depts in stores...please leave ours:)
Other Walmart have cuter clothes and more things than ours.
Takes all my $$$$

I guess I just need to get used to it...it's about all we've got!

I have a love/hate relationship with them too.

And I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out what your other two grocery stores are...Brookshires and what else?

Right there with you. I only enjoy it when I'm by myself, too.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we get to keep our fabric dept. Just can't imagine life without it! :)
You would be up a creek!!

I had to go last night - out of diapers. I ended up spending $150+!! I can never get out of there without leaving $50. I'd have money if I could stay out of Walmart.

Hey Steph, thanks for stopping by and having a laugh at my pic of the lil man in the Wal-Mart bag, it cracked me up. I am glad you thought of me cause since I have started working I have thought of you being able to stay home several times which has really made me question my decision to go to work, but it is only for a short while if I want it to be. Keep stopping in to say hi, I miss you guys when I don't get on for a couple of days, with us only living in this town for a little over a year you gals on here are truely my only friends.
Hugs, Kathy

I pretty much have a hate relationship with Walmart. They are always so crowded and messy, along with all the other reasons you listed.
